Individuals living in our group homes build meaningful relationships with peers and support staff. These relationships are instrumental in strengthening interpersonal skill development and fostering an environment of shared values in the recovery process. Our group homes are staffed 24-hours daily and we offer wheelchair accessible housing. Each individual has a private bedroom. We encourage residents to personalize their rooms to reflect their unique décor preferences.
Specialized Home Care
Specialized Home Care supports individuals who live in the homes of highly trained and experienced home-care providers. VHS employees provide advocacy, case management, outreach, recreation/social activities and training.
Individual Support Program
The Individual Support Program serves people who live in their own apartments. Services are based on the unique needs of each individual.
Family Partnership Program
The Family Partnership Program supports individuals in the homes of their families or their own homes. This enables individuals to receive the services and support they need while living at home with their families or companion/friend. In this service model, the families identify their goals and VHS staff functions as partners by assisting with accessing helpful resources and supporting the implementation of the objectives needed to achieve the goals.
